Contracting guide.

Contracting is a system by which an individual provides their skills and expertise to a client to cover a specific job over a period of time.

It can be an exciting and varied career move or just a temporary step to bridge the gap between finishing one permanent job and starting another.

Before commencing a contract you will be fully briefed regarding the client, the task and the agreed terms. On starting, you will receive your contract and timesheets. You will be required to complete a timesheet on a weekly basis and get authorisation from your line manager as to the hours worked.

MPI prides itself on the reliability of its payroll system. All contractors are paid weekly in arrears directly into their bank accounts on receipt of an authorised timesheet. Pay slips will be sent to your home address.

MPI ensures you receive the highest levels of support through our dedicated programmes and established procedures and will assist in finding accommodation when working away from home, provide subsistence when required and visit you at work to ensure you are satisfied.
