MPI have a requirement for Avionics Technicians to work in Cardiff

Working 4on-4off shift days or nights, both shifts available

These roles are In scope of IR35

Rate of pay: £25.20 per hour Days Umbrella/£27.74 per hour Nights Umbrella

Candidates can work extra days when off shift, max 2

3 month rolling contract with plenty of work till the end of the year (subject to change)

Essential Qualifications (Academic /vocational)

Aircraft Avionic Electrical//Instrumentation Apprenticeship or recognized training.

BTEC / HNC or Aerospace qualification equivalent.

Experience:

Applicants must have lots of previous aircraft Base / Line maintenance experience post apprenticeship/training. You have worked on Aircraft in the last 24 months for some time .

Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all aircraft documentation (AMM, CMM, SWP) including electrical drawings etc

Aircraft Electrical Installation / Fault Isolation /Modification embodiment experience, preferably Boeing wide body aircraft.

In Flight Entertainment System experience.

Comprehensive understanding of CDCCL’s ALI’s and EWIS

Continuation Training:

Current Maintenance Human Factors Certificate.

Fuel Tank Safety level 11 Certificate.

EWIS (relevant groups) Certificate.

Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety responsibilities.

Good Aircraft Airmanship / Husbandry.

Supporting / improving knowledge of Avionic Fitters

Tool Control procedures.

Ensure product quality and standards are sustained.

Responsible for maintaining compliance with all BA mandatory training and tech info portal.

Delivery of output on time.

Stamp all work on completion of tasks within limits of approval.

Wiring Installation, Stringing, termination.
