Our Client, UK Maritime & Aviation (Royal Navy Support) are recruiting for a Senior Supervisor working in support of the Company Operation Support Team (OST) section of the AESAS Contract based at RNAS Culdrose.
Our Clients are proud to support the AESAS (Air Engineering Support and Airfield Services) at Royal Navy Air Station Culdrose, that delivers services ranging from the repair and maintenance of Military aircraft- and off aircraft support services. Culdrose is one of the Navy`s two principal air bases, and one of the busiest military airfields in the UK. This position is seeking a Senior Supervisor that holds a minimum of 6 months relevant aircraft or component maintenance experience within the previous 2-year period in accordance with MAOS Military Regulations Part 145 or Military Maintenance Organisation (MMO) environment. You will have good working knowledge and be responsible for the following:
Merlin Aircraft Systems and Engineering Support
Military aircraft documentation co-ordination (3rd Signatory)
Merlin Aircraft Servicing and Support Equipment
Project Planning and LEAN Operating Procedures
Naval Air Publications / C-IETP
Health & Safety, COSHH, Tool Control and Quality Practices
Engineering and Asset Management Systems.
Essential requirements for the role:
Previous experience of working on Merlin HM Mk2.
Worked on the particular aircraft type / components for at least 6 months during the preceding 24 months in accordance with MAOS Military Regulations Part 145 or MMO regulatory articles.
Attained a Service Certificate of Competency (CofC) or successfully completed a local Supervisory Management and Aircraft Documentation Course and CofC Board.
Have demonstrated military aviation documentation co-ordination during previous 24 months
Previous supervisory experience and a thorough and good working knowledge of the following:
Merlin Aircraft Engineering and Aircraft Systems (Avionics Trade).
Naval Air Publications and Compound – Interactive Electronic Technical Publications (C-IETP)
An understanding and experience of Airworthiness Engineering Safety and Compliance iaw Regulatory and Legislative requirements (MAA/MAOS) including Continuous Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO)
Engineering and Asset Management Systems - GOLDesp.
Excellent leadership and people management experience, and the ability to work productively, efficiently and effectively under tight timescales.
Completed a Maintenance Human Factors Course.
