MPI have a requirement for a Bench Technician based in Basildon, Essex.

This is a permanent role

Full time, 40 hours per week.

Purpose of the role:

An exciting opportunity has opened up to join our growing team, creating new telecoms products for the rail, air and construction industries. For the last 20 years, Our Client has been innovating in RF radio communications technology, and we are now looking to recruit additional workshop bench technicians to help us to deliver our innovative products to the UK and worldwide marketplace.

The right candidates will be involved with:
Assembly, sub-assembly and testing of radio communications products and accessories
Fault finding (to a modular level) and repair work
Functional testing of completed products
Involvement in product research and development
Logistics Support

Required skills for the role include:
Assembly and soldering experience
Experience of product repair
Ability to fault-find and diagnose (to a modular level)
Testing experience, including use of basic test equipment
Ability to be able to prioritise and organise to ensure deadlines are achieved
A high standard of professionalism and the ability to work well as part of a team

Existing RF radio communication experience is not required, as full training will be given.
