MPI Limited are looking for Burnham Avionics Lecturer to teach technical training to multi-national students with an age range of 16-35 in a class room environment based in the Wolverhampton area.

The position is to start in the New Year, it's a contract position until the end of September 2022 with a strong possibility of it being extended beyond that for the right individual, although at this stage there are no guarantees.


£19.25 Per Hour – PAYE (33 days holiday)

Positions will be classed as in scope of IR35 due to it being in the public sector.

Normal working hours are 08.30 – 17.00 Monday – Friday and 08.30 – 16.30 Friday. There are times when candidates are required to work outside of these hours and if this happens they are given time off in lieu.

Working 37 hours per week for 44.4 weeks per year. (Due to holiday shutdown periods).


A vacancy exists for a Burnham Lecturer Avionics Principles in the Academic Principles Organisation at DSAE Cosford. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Electrical & Avionics Principles and related topics to RAF FT and IDT students on a City & Guilds level 3 Technician course.

The applicant must have an HNC/HND/Degree in any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) subject and they must have the facilities to deliver via remote learning due to the current national lockdown.

It is desirable that applicants have experience or working in a military environment.

Applicants will be required to undertake a trade related test and deliver a 10-15-minute presentation at the interview stage.

The successful applicant will be required to apply for a Basic Disclosure at a cost of £23 and will undergo an MOD BPSS Security Clearance; this will only be required at job offer stage.
