Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Contract Dates: ASAP - 01/04/2024

Location: Bodmin, Cornwall


We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to work out of Bodmin, Cornwall on an initial 2 year contract.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Regional Logistics manager in maintaining the effective and efficient management of materials stored at the Project Depot and satellite sites.

  • The ordering or call-off of Consumables, which are not included in the main project Bill of Materials.

  • Assist in planning the resource available to you to meet the demands of the Project whilst maintaining a healthy work/life balance and complying with Siemens Policies regarding Risk and Fatigue Management.

  • Provide weekly reports to the Regional Logistics Manager regarding Stock accuracy and GRN activity for the Project.

  • Attend any Project Meetings in the absence of the Regional Logistics Manager and feedback in a timely manner on any issues raised.

  • Maintain adherence to the Business Management standards and have a strong influence on managing improvements and change in your area of responsibility.

  • Collaborate with other Teams specifically the Material Engineers, Buyers and Construction Team.

  • Assist the Regional Logistics Manager in maintaining health & Safety within the workplace were required to maintain the business initiative of Zero Harm.

Must Have/Hold:

  • Sap and Computer Literate

  • Manual Handling

  • Emergency First Aid

  • Forklift/Telehandler Ticket

  • PTS (ideal but not essential)

  • Full Driving Licence
