Part Time Receptionists
MPI have a requirement for 2 Part Time Receptionists to work on site in Gosport, Hampshire.
30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Rotating shift - 1 week working 0600-1200 and 1 week working 1200-1800.
Salary: £17,000 per annum.
Hours worked over 30 per week are paid at an overtime rate of 1.5.

NOTE: The Receptionists will be required to cover a 12 hour day in the event of sickness absence/ annual leave of the Receptionist working the other shift. A 60 minute paid break will be permitted in these circumstances. Breaks may be disturbed to facilitate emergency response and should therefore be taken onsite.
To provide an initial point of contact for all visitors to the Our Clients site, to handle telephone enquiries in a polite and professional manner, working effectively alongside the security team and being an ambassador for our company values and vision, “setting the standard of customer service”.
To carry out the Security vetting, to allow access to the site of Staff, Contractors, Clubs and Visitors. Position Requirements Key responsibilities and duties:
Staffing the Reception desk when required, ensuring Reception is not left unattended at any time;
Answering all telephone calls in a polite and professional manner;
Issuing access cards/badges, car passes and keys;
Completing all relevant administration tasks and providing administration support to the security management team;
Assist where necessary with the New Starter induction process;
Handling internal and external enquiries (via telephone or face to face) in a helpful manner, striving to answer queries and solve problems with a “can do” attitude;
Providing an excellent standard of customer service at all times, being an ambassador for the company’s vision of “setting the standard of customer service”
Working effectively with our Clients on site security team, ensuring that Reception and Security are communicating relevant information and working in sync, to maximum efficiency at all times;
Safeguard classified information and materials;
Franking the business mail, and taking receipt of incoming mail;
Operate and monitor security systems, CCTV and alarms;
Liaise with emergency services in an emergency
Ensuring all relevant records and logs are updated accurately and regularly and that all information required is included;
Assisting in planning and preparation for on-site visitors;
Ensuring all visitors are advised of site security and health & safety requirements;
Ensuring the Reception area is kept in a suitable condition for visitors and maintaining a good Company image;
Carry out BPSS and ITAR clearance activities, in accordance with Company requirements;
Management of cryptographic account;
Working additional hours to cover any absence of the other Receptionist;
Undertaking any ad-hoc related duties that may arise (as instructed by line manager) such as receiving deliveries;
Adhering to all Health and Safety rules and regulations;

Professional Qualifications/Education and Training:

Security Vetting Training (DISA, Defence Industry Security Association). (d)
MoD Cryto trained (d)
Sisys control pass system (d).
Experience in a customer facing role; (e)
Experience of working in a regulated environment; (d)
Experience in Security Vetting procedures. (d)
