MPI are looking for a Permanent Program Manager for our client based in Bedford.

Mission
To manage the strategy and communication with assigned customers (Customer Management) with the 5. BD Sales & Marketing team
To lead their Customer Focus Team (Team Management)
To manage profitability of assigned projects (Financial Management)
Responsibilities
- Is the customers point of contact
ü Answers to all customer requests
ü Informs customer of internal changes as required
ü Helps to resolve issues and complaints
- Applies the terms of the contract (forecast, ECO, etc.), leads contract renewal negotiation, ensures contracts are always kept updated and applied
- Drives performance to achieve the best possible level of customer satisfaction
- Coordinates Quarterly Business Review (QBR) as required
ü Leads the QBR process in the PLM and with customers
- Is responsible for growing the business with existing customers
ü Helps to build the common strategy with a global vision (multi sites, high/best/low cost region) with 5.3.2 Manager - Sales
ü Knows the leverage to grow the business
- Leads the CFT (10.4.1 Engineering Leader - Project Manufacturing; 8.5.4 Logistics Leader - Planning; 7. Quality and 9. GMSCM)
ü Animates weekly team meetings
ü Publishes meeting minutes
ü Follows up action plans
- Coordinates Customer Quotation (CQ) activity
ü Monitors the CQ process in the PLM as required
ü Manages and leads the CQ presentation to customers
- Coordinates New Product Introduction (NPI) projects
ü Monitors the NPI process in the PLM
ü Manages the project Risk Analysis, the start-up of a new program, product implementation, plan, schedule
- Coordinates the Engineering Change Orders (ECO)
ü Initializes the ECO in the PLM
ü Manages the cost impact analysis of ECO
ü Presents and asks to customer validation of ECO
- Creates and updates data in the ERP as required
ü Process Sales Setup (GSU 04): creates, manages and controls customer relationship with 5. BD – Sales & Marketing and 2. Finance & Administration
ü Process Customer Forecast Maintenance (MAN 02): loads customer forecast with 8.5.5 Logistics Analyst – Planning
ü Processes Customer Requirement (S&M 03) and Sales Order Maintenance (S&M 01): updates customer forecast and schedule with 8.5.5 Logistics Analyst – Planning
- Ensures and maintains the financial profitability of projects
ü Works with 9. GMSCM for material cost and with 10.4.1 Engineering Leader - Project Manufacturing for labour cost and with 12. Lean
ü Interfaces with 9. GMSCM and with 10.4.1 Engineering Leader - Project Manufacturing to ensure manufacturing material requirements and associated costs are met as required by contracts
ü Checks inventory levels and on-time delivery
ü Manages excess and obsolete inventory
ü Provides accurate and regular forecasts per the financial planning cycle
ü Manages and analyses the customer P&L
- Ensures the right quality level based on customer target
Education/Qualification
3-5 years’ experience in similar positions in the ems industry preferably
Experience (years & fields)
