Service Technician

Location: Milton Keynes

Duration: Rolling Contract

Rate: £9.00 per hour

Mon-Fri 9am to 5.30 pm

Our client, who are a leading manufacturer of power tools, now require several Service Technicians due to their continued success.

​

The Service Technicians are required to carry out assessments, followed by the strip down and service/repair of their wide variety of products.

​

The successful applicant will have:

​

Qualifications/Training:

Good general standard of education with a minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths, and an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent (NVQ/C&G). Alternatively, a proven background in bench assembly, repair or service of electro-mechanical equipment would be considered.

​

Skills/Knowledge:

Microsoft Office

Servicing / repair / maintenance of electrical and/or mechanical equipment or tools (ideal)

Basic Engineering skills - Some training will be provided for individuals with any knowledge of electro-mechanical engineering

​

Personal Qualities:

Positive attitude/outlook

Flexible approach

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

​

Other Relevant Factors:

Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the team

The ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team to ensure a high level of quality service is maintained to external and internal customers.
