MPI are assisting our client with their requirement for:
SURVIVAL EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN (PRODUCER):
To be based at RAF Coningsby (LN4 4TG)
Contract expected to be up to 04.12.2021
Rate of pay to be discussed upon application.
Required to work as part of a team or individually to carry out the following:
Producer for the Maintenance, Rectification and Modification of Survival Equipment (SE) and Aircrew Equipment Assemblies (AEA) in support of Typhoon and BBMF.
SE and AEA will encompass the following equipment:
• Helmets (Mk 10 & 4A/4 variants)
• O2 Masks
• Full coverage Anti-G Assemblies
• Immersion Protection Garments
• Life Saving appliances
• Parachute assemblies
• Life Rafts and Personal Survival Packs
The aforementioned list is not exhaustive and will therefore there will be a requirement to work on other similar types of equipment. The person will be expected to work within the unit’s quality management system within the total safety framework including adherence to local tool control procedures and orders.
Level 3 NVQ in Survival Equipment or Engineering equivalent is essential
