​Technical Admin Support Supervisor

Location: Milton Keynes

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £25,000 per annum

Hours: Mon – Fri: 09.00–17:00 (1 hour lunch)

Start: ASAP

Our client is an internationally recognised supplier of hand and power tools to a range of industries and to end users. A household brand, they are recognised as a world leader in their field.

An opportunity has arisen for a proven team leader / supervisor to join the business on a permanent basis, with the goal of leading a team of administrators to support the technical department, within their MK site.

1. KEY TASKS

1. To be responsible for leading a team providing administration support for the technical department.

2. To follow the company Health & Safety, & Environmental policies

3. To respond to customer telephone queries

4. To respond to email technical queries

5. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement with all department staff

6. Follow department processes and procedures

7. Ensure correct resource in place to deal with the key responsibilities of the department.

SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES

1. At all times be responsible for the safety of yourself, other staff and visitors, in and around your immediate work areas

2. To respond to customer telephone and email queries with KPI’s

3. To support staff with daily tasks such as 9w, 9q, logging reworks etc

4. To assist in performing any additional assignments and duties as required by the needs of the Business as directed by your line manager.

5. Manage the key account work of the department

6. Ensure timesheets, overtime and holiday requests dealt with in timely manner

7. Ensure all reporting completed within KPI’s.

8. Manage departments WH91 function.

QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING

1. Good general standard of education with a minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths

EXPERIENCE

1. Administration support.

2. Customer service focus.

3. Knowledge of a ‘Service’ environment preferable.

4. Leading a team of administrators.

5. Good communication skills.

6. Knowledge of administrative processes and procedures

7. Flexible approach

8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
