​MPI have a requirement for a Service Transition Manager to be based in Corsham, however some remote working is possible.

 

This is a contract for approx. 7 months.

 

This role is in scope of IR35

 

Approx 37 hours per week.

 

Rate of pay:

£42.86 per hour PAYE

£57.59 per hour Umbrella

 

Applicants must have minimum of the following:

 

Previous knowledge and experience of JSP 604, Defence Manual of ICT and associated network joining rules.

Previous Formal project management experience. Ideally APM, PRINCE2 or Agile.

Be Accredited ITIL v3 Expert or higher

Have written and verbal communication skills.

Have an understanding of transition management with at least 3 years experience in a related and dedicated ITSM role.

Have vast previous experience of designing, implementing, managing and improving processes in a complex, mission critical environment.

Applicants need to be afast learner with an inherent ability to understand complex technology solutions and communicate the impact of changes.

Applicants to have a strong influencing and persuasion skills with an inherent ability to demonstrate and sell the benefits of effective transition management and obtain buy in and support from all stakeholders.

 

Desirable Skills

 

Applicants to have an Understanding of Military deployable CIS, preferably with experience of working on multi-mission domains.

Previous Knowledge and experience of defence digital SIAM and the software development lifecycle Previous Knowledge and experience of deployed Operational Service Management.

Have Previous exposure to implementing and configuring ITSM toolsets with a clear understanding of how tools should be used to support transition management process activities.

A self-starter with an organised and methodical approach and a proven ability to build relationships with internal and external, technical and non-technical stakeholders.
