MPI is recruiting a Compliance Engineer for a permanent opportunity based at Stansted Airport. If you have a strong understanding of Part 145 regulations and a passion for quality, safety and continuous improvement, this is an excellent opportunity to join a leading aircraft maintenance organisation.
Working closely with the Quality & Compliance Monitoring Manager, you'll help ensure the organisation maintains the highest standards of regulatory compliance across its UK maintenance operations.
What you'll be doing
- Conduct internal Part 145 audits, maintenance sample audits and aircraft inspections
- Audit suppliers and contracted organisations
- Support maintenance activities at Stansted and occasionally Luton
- Build strong relationships with operational teams to promote quality and safety
- Maintain audit records, quality databases and KPI reporting
- Support supplier approvals, certifying staff authorisations and regulatory compliance
- Identify audit trends and drive continuous improvement
What we're looking for
- Lead Auditor qualification or willingness to work towards it
- Strong knowledge of UK CAA/EASA Part 145 and Part 66 (Part CAMO knowledge desirable)
- Experience within an aircraft maintenance environment
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own workload
- Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas when required
