MPI is seeking experienced Aircraft Engineering Supervisors (Mechanical and Avionics – Wildcat) to join a leading aviation support team at, supporting the Royal Navy’s Fleet Air Arm and Wildcat Maritime Force.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take a senior hands-on role in a fast-paced military aviation environment, ensuring aircraft availability, safety, and compliance across one of the UK’s busiest military air stations.
What you’ll do
- Supervise and deliver aircraft maintenance and ground support for Wildcat aircraft
- Ensure all work meets strict customer, regulatory, and airworthiness standards
- Oversee quality, safety, and compliance across engineering activities
- Identify and escalate risks, defects, and quality issues
- Complete required technical and administrative documentation
- Support continuous improvement and lean operating practices
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in an airworthiness environment
- At least 2 years’ hands-on Wildcat or rotary wing aircraft experience
- Supervisory-level competence (or ability to achieve certification)
- Strong understanding of Naval Air Publications and C-IETP systems
- Knowledge of MAA airworthiness, COSHH, HASAW, and tool control procedures
- Experience with military rotary wing operations and asset management systems
- Able to achieve SC clearance
