Are you an experienced Aircraft Structural Fitter looking for your next contract opportunity?
MPI is recruiting CAT A Aircraft Structural Fitters to join our client's Depth Maintenance Cell in Gosport, Hampshire. If you have completed an aircraft apprenticeship and have strong structural fitting experience, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out aircraft structural modifications
- Installing modification kits
- Rectifying structural components
- Riveting and sheet metal work (SMW)
- Working as part of a skilled maintenance team delivering high-quality aircraft work
Helicopter (rotary-wing) structural experience is preferred, but candidates with recent fixed-wing structural experience will also be considered.
What we're looking for:
- Completed Aircraft Apprenticeship (with supporting certificates)
- Aircraft structural fitting experience
- Experience with riveting and sheet metal work
- Human Factors, EWIS and Fuel Tank Safety certificates (required before starting)
- Ability to obtain Basic Security Clearance
What's on offer?
- CAT A Rate: £36.63 per hour Ltd (£27.95 PAYE)
- 37-hour basic week
- Regular overtime available (typically 40-60 hours per week, including weekends, subject to customer requirements)
- Ongoing contract (outside IR35)
- Opportunity to gain your CAT B stamp, increasing your rate to:
- £38.72 per hour Ltd
- £29.56 per hour PAYE
