Are you looking for a hands-on role in a specialist engineering environment where quality, precision, and teamwork matter every day? We are seeking a motivated Aircraft Wheel Technician to join our team and support the maintenance and repair of aircraft wheels and related components.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Full training will be provided, so while previous aircraft wheel experience is advantageous, it is not essential.
Working Hours
This role is based on a 9-day fortnight pattern:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 5:00pm
- Friday (Week 1): 7:30am – 1:00pm
- Friday (Week 2): Off
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for a range of technical and hands-on tasks, including:
- Disassembly of aircraft wheels
- Technical cleaning of wheels and relevant components
- Paint stripping
- Re-working of assemblies, including blending, bush fitment, and re-protection
- Assembly of aircraft wheels
- Reading and understanding component maintenance manuals
- Following technical instructions accurately and consistently
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Practical, reliable, and eager to learn
- Comfortable using hand tools safely and accurately
- Able to follow detailed instructions and work to high standards
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
- Eligible to live and work in the UK at the time of application

Previous wheel experience would be beneficial, but not essential. If you have a strong work ethic, a good eye for detail, and enjoy working in a technical environment, we’d love to hear from you.
