Cryogenics Senior Technical Officer
Location: Cranfield, Bedfordshire, MK43 0AL
Contract: 2 years, with potential to become permanent for the right candidate
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week (typically 08:30–16:30)
IR35: In scope – rate to be discussed on application
MPI is currently looking for an experienced Cryogenics Senior Technical Officer to join a specialist team in Cranfield, Bedfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a cutting-edge and rapidly growing industry, supporting advanced instrumentation test rigs and cryogenic systems at extremely low temperatures.
In this position, you will be working with instrumentation test rigs operating down to -140°C, alongside liquid hydrogen and gaseous systems. You’ll play a key role in supporting technical operations in a highly specialised environment where precision, safety, and expertise are essential.
We’re particularly interested in candidates with experience from*BOC (British Oxygen Company) or a similar background, along with relevant experience working with liquid nitrogen and cryogenic gases.
