Permanent Way Supervisor – Track (PWAY) Job Title: Supervisor – PWAY – Track Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland Contract Type: Contract Rate: TBC The Role We are seeking an experienced Permanent Way (PWAY) Supervisor to oversee and coordinate track-related construction activities on projects across Northern Ireland. You will be responsible for ensuring that all Permanent Way works are effectively coordinated with other engineering disciplines and delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. Working closely with site teams, contractors and the client, you will ensure that all construction activities are completed within budget and in accordance with relevant industry standards, company procedures and project requirements. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate Permanent Way track works across projects in Northern Ireland. Undertake site visits, technical assessments and progress reviews as required. Coordinate all on-site technical activities, ensuring works are delivered in line with project specifications. Manage and oversee site manpower to ensure resources are effectively allocated. Liaise with other engineering disciplines to manage interfaces and ensure smooth delivery of construction activities. Monitor site progress, quality and safety, addressing any issues as they arise. Ensure all works comply with relevant track standards, processes and procedures. Promote a strong safety culture across all site activities. Essential Requirements Comprehensive understanding of Permanent Way engineering principles and track-related works. Good knowledge of engineering interfaces between Permanent Way and other disciplines. Relevant Safety Management training. Strong knowledge and understanding of track standards, processes and procedures. Previous experience working in a site-based supervisory role. Ability to coordinate site teams and manage technical activities effectively.
