MPI is currently recruiting for a Sheet Metal Assembly Operative on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturer of low voltage switchgear based in St. Albans.
This is a great opportunity for someone with solid hands-on skills who enjoys practical, varied work in a manufacturing environment. You’ll be joining a busy facility where quality, accuracy, and flexibility are key.
The Role
As a Sheet Metal Assembly Operative, you will be involved in a range of assembly tasks within the company’s manufacturing operation. The work will be varied, so we’re looking for someone who is adaptable, reliable, and confident using hand tools.
What we’re looking for
- Fully competent using hand tools
- Comfortable carrying out a variety of assembly duties
- Flexible and willing to turn your hand to different tasks-
A strong work ethic and good attention to detail
- Previous manufacturing or sheet metal experience would be an advantage
