MPI is recruiting a Technical Services Manager to join a leading Part 145 organisation based at Stansted Airport. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring technical documentation, planning and engineering support services are delivered accurately, efficiently and in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
What you'll be doing
- Leading the Technical Services Department and managing day-to-day team performance
- Ensuring all outputs comply with Part 145 regulations, the company MOE and internal procedures
- Overseeing the timely production of engineering documentation and work packages
- Ensuring accurate and on-time release documentation for Part CAMO customers
- Managing material requisition and supporting coordination with Purchasing and Stores
- Allocating workloads across the Technical Services team to ensure efficiency and balance
- Driving continuous improvement across planning, processes and operational systems
- Maintaining strong communication with customers to ensure high service levels
- Reviewing and updating technical publications and maintenance documentation
- Monitoring performance, providing feedback, and supporting staff development
What we're looking for
- Degree in a technical or engineering discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Strong background in Part 145 aviation environments
- Proven leadership and people management experience
- Excellent organisational, analytical and decision-making skills
- Strong understanding of technical documentation and aircraft maintenance processes
- Advanced IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and planning systems
- Confident communicator with strong customer relationship skills

- Monday to Friday working pattern: 08:30–17:00
