MPI have a requirement for Aircraft Mechanics to work in Braintree, Essex on an ongoing contract as per Customer requirements.
Rate of pay £23.50 per hour LTD/£18.20 per hour PAYE
Basic hours are 39 hour week - 08:00 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday with 15:30 Friday .
Overtime – if available, the normal is an Overtime Early Start at 07:00 then in the Evenings until 17:30, so 49 hours are generally achievable each week - PLEASE NOTE WHILST OVERTIME IS MENTIONED, IT IS NEVER GUARANTEED
Essential:
Recognised aircraft background and possess knowledge to maintain / overhaul aircraft flying controls and removable structures from a range of Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
Unrestricted right to live and work in the UK.
Ideally live locally to the area.
Skills Duties and knowledge:
Disassemble components when required and can navigate Boeing and Airbus CMM's, SRM's, SB's, AMM's, Engineering drawings etc .
Ensure that Airworthiness, Safety and Company procedures are always complied with.
Good communication skills.
Must be highly motivated to work independently as well as being a good team member.
Must be able to work under pressure and in a flexible manner.
Desirable:
Hold current Human Factors certificate and mechanical / aeronautical apprenticeship certificates.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
