​MPI have a requirement for a Cleaner to work in Brize Norton, Carterton, Oxfordshire.

Contract for approx. 6 months

​

Rate: £9.34 PAYE per hour

​

Hours: 32 hours, shifts 8 hours, 4 days on 4 days off. 5am to 1pm.

​

Pay double time from 5am to 6am and time and a half from 6am to 7am.

​

Clearance: BPSS + DBS Check

Job Purpose

Working in a service team, with the client, ensuring tasks are undertaken promptly & effectively. Meeting or exceeding service standards such that FM Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI’s) are achieved

 Responsibilities

Ensure FM Cleaning activities are carried out safely, in compliance with Babcock H&S policies, best practice and legalisation.

Ensure cleaning routines are completed in accordance with the cleaning schedule and KPI’s are met at all times.

Carry out waste management including collection, disposal and monitoring of contracted services.

Carry out external litter clearing and cleaning as required.

Carry out reactive cleaning as required

Report any Health and Safety defects to the FM Team

Maintain good customer relationships and improve the perception of Babcock as the partner of choice for AirTanker

Carry out any other reasonable requests for support of services as directed by management

Provision of a general porterage service.

Skills and Experience

​

Essential

Competent in all aspects of cleaning

Porterage and manual handling experience. 

Knowledge of cleaning procedures/applications

Proven track record of delivering quality services

A customer service ethos – helpful, respectful, co-operative, firm but friendly approach to customers

Wiling to Undertake Security Clearance

Desirable

Have a basic knowledge of computers

Relevant Safety training

Cleaning qualification BICS or NVQ
