​MPI have a requirement for a Facilities Supervisor to be based in Almondbank, Perth.

This is a permanent role.

Rate of pay is will be discussed on application

Purpose of the role:

Receive and process client requests for support, source/engage and liaise with external contractors. Supervise works to ensure value for money and maintenance of SLA’s. Provide technical support to our Facilities function and supervise the onsite Facilities technicians (x2). Deputise in the absence of the Facilities Manager as required. The role is varied and you will be the interface for the business with external contractors as well as taking on any other ad-hoc tasks where necessary.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Technical support and hands on maintenance work as required

Coordinate PPM and reactive maintenance tasks (in-house and contracted).

Create and maintain weekly schedule of works.

Supervision of internal facilities technicians.

Facilities administration support of PPM system and reactive maintenance

Ensure maintenance and repair of VAIL real estate is carried out in a timely and efficient manner.

Ensure all works are carried out in line with industry best practice and comply with the appropriate current regulations;

Identify and report any potential efficiency improvements and/or cost reductions in current systems;

Co-ordination of activities with internal and contractor staff where appropriate;

Adherence to our Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and all associated Business Manuals.

Monitor PPM's and maintain compliance; (e)

Monitor KPI's in line with contract terms (Contractor Performance Evaluation); (e)

Supervision of jobs and quoting for internal works (where appropriate); (d)

IT skills (Microsoft office etc) (e)

Supervision of facilities associates

Professional Qualifications/Education and Training:

Good organisational skills; (e)

Basic understanding of plant and property maintenance; (e)

Good understanding of basic engineering principles; (e)

Good understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental regulations and legislation; (e)

Competency with standard MS Office applications; (e)

18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations; (e)

Working knowledge of mechanical systems; (e)

Working knowledge of plumbing systems; (d)

Working knowledge of carpentry; (d)

Good understanding of Safety, Health, Environment and Fire Regulations; (e)

Functional I.T. skills; (e)

Driving license; (e)

Experience:

Experience of Hard and Soft service contract supervision (e)
