​MPI are looking for a Fitter, for our client based in Bishop's Stortford

Rate: negotiable

The role is road based, so travelling to and from different sites day to day / week to week.

Our client is an established design and build contractor, specialising in clean/process water plus dirty water, sewage/effluent of water industry. They require a semi-skilled fitter/labourer to assist client on sites, doing maintenance work.

The role will involve travelling to client sites and assisting an engineering team with the installation of a wide range of processing / treating equipment.

Requirements

• Confined Space - MUST

• Driving licence - MUST

• First Aid - desired

• EUSR (water Hygiene) - desired

• CSCS Card – Green - desired

• PASMA (Scaffold Towers) - First Aid

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Experience of working on Water Treatment works is always an advantage

• Mechanical fitting

• Experience in working with mechanical equipment

• Ideally a recognised apprenticeship

• Ability to work from instruction

• Clear demonstration of safety behaviour
