Provide Supplychain support for engine material through engine shop visit
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As an Off Wing Powerplant Supplychain Progress Chaser, you will be responsible for the operational support of engine spare parts. This will include tracing and tracking of on-going shipments worldwide and expediting the delivery of parts into the shops or to other stations. Other duties will include the coordination of case-to-case logistical activities worldwide, monitoring task progress and taking the necessary action to deliver in agreed timescales/budgets, completing all paperwork in an accurate and timely manner. You may be required to maintain a shift handover log for the Off Wing team and liaise with other departments as necessary. You will be willing to travel to support meetings with the Off Wing team and to engine shops as and when required
Wide ranging functions include facilitation of the performance management of strategic suppliers ensuring service level agreements (SLA’s) are met, forward provisioning of materials to meet business needs, understanding and working to the contracts for multiple MROs, receipting of components and label booking within AMOS.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Aviation background with supply chain experience, including procurement & tendering experience
Strong IT skills and knowledge of engineering systems
Ability to work on own initiative
Demonstrate self-confidence and the ability to present at all levels across a wide engineering organization
