Outsourced maintenance logistics representative

UK and overseas destinations – E.g. Taiwan/UAE, Turkey etc.

 

Duration : Start end October until mid-April

Inside IR35

PAY : - £25 PAYE

Client will pay for Hotel / Travel And Breakfast etc. (Not evening meal this will be reflected in the rate)

No airside pass required as they will be visitors

 

 

The nominated logistic representative, under overall control and responsibility of the Northern Region Supply Chain Manager shall

Be required to work in UK & abroad and at the Luton hangar for training and clear-up work after aircraft maintenance completion.

Flexible in support of aircraft maintenance due to changes of maintenance provider /date change on aircraft input and completion dates.

Track shipments by liaising with suppliers/ staff and freight agents

Order parts for purchase/loan and under contract that are not supplied by the maintenance provider per the contract

Maintain a shortage sheet of parts (Excel spreadsheet) ensuring the shipping details and delivery dates are up-to-date and correct

Liaise closely with our clients ‘technical rep, Supply Chain Management and maintenance provider staff advising all parts sourcing or delivery date concerns that may impact the completion date of the a/c.

Ensure cost limits as shown on the "authorised Signatures list" are not exceeded; should the amounts fall outside the individual’s limits then authority to proceed is to be sought from a manager with the required limits.

All components shall be received into the AMOS system for all rotables and for drop-shipments of all our clients’/contracted parts. All parts must be goods receipted by an authorised receiving inspector.

Order parts internally from our clients’ stock by way of a transfer order and arrange freight collection dependant on priority and track the shipment.

Receive internal transfer orders in the AMOS system to show at the maintenance provide as parts arrive.

All unused contracted parts or unserviceable (u/s) contracted parts must be delivered back to the contracted supplier in a timely manner as per the contract.

Data clean-up

It is the responsibility of the nominated logistic representative, to ensure a clean and neat database. For this purpose, the following data clean-up standards shall be considered: 

·         order management screen shall be checked to identify any outstanding orders.

·         open purchase orders shall be checked with the vendor and closed/cancelled as required for parts that are no longer required.

·         ensure all exchange, pool and loan orders are returned to the supplier and processed in Order Management.

·         order tracking on "T" orders shall be checked for parts in transfer and confirm into MRO location.

·         store management and standard locations tab shall be checked

o         to identify serviceable parts in relevant aircraft location.

o         to identify all system locations

o         to verify if all orders in order management are accounted for

o         to ensure the whereabouts of any unserviceable components are shown 

·         pickslip installed parts to the correct project code.

Any missing parts must be reported to our clients’Team Leader immediately and the procedure for  "lost components" shall be completed.

No parts should be scrapped by an MRO without permission from the our clients’ Team Leader and/or Repairs Assessor and Negotiator.
