Process & Systems Optimisation – Project Manager

Working for the world’s number one integrated tourism business.  We are looking for a project manager to work in process and systems optimisation.

Engineering & Maintenance is continuing its transformation programme to fully align its legacy Operations into One Integrated Engineering & Maintenance Organisation. This is based on two Centres of Excellence Base Maintenance Facilities in Luton (UK) and Brussels, and a three Region Operational Network of Line Stations across Europe and the UK. This has created a unique opportunity to develop our STRONGER, FASTER, SMARTER philosophy through improved digitisation, process alignment and continuous Improvement methodologies, using such tools as Mo2Go Process Mapping, Confluence Document Control, Programme Management, Learn & Agile Principles and Enhanced Data Analytics.  
As a Project Manager for Process & Systems Optimisation you will lead key projects in process and procedure alignment, Systems optimisation, and performance improvement across the Engineering & Maintenance Landscape. This dynamic and cross functional Role is key to the successful implementation of the Engineering and Maintenance Mission & Vision to act and perform as One Team. Focusing on furthering our Digitisation and Sustainability Roadmaps, underpinned by our drive to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and improve performance. The objective of which is to deliver high performing, quality Aircraft maintenance services to our customer the Airline.  
As a Project Manager within Business Performance and Development your focus will be to lead and drive key Project initiatives in Process and Systems Improvement and Optimisation. In a multi-disciplined environment across all Workstreams within Engineering and Maintenance.  

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Reporting to the Process & System Optimisation Manager, the key responsibilities of the Role are to.
Project Manage key Process & Systems Improvement Projects, to an agreed deliverable timeline and Performance Standard. Which would include restructuring, and documenting processes, Process Maps and Procedures etc. as well as completing a full end to end Project Management structured approach from Business Case, Definition to Training, Post Project Monitoring, and imbedding the Project back into the Workstream or Business Unit.
Map, analyse and optimize processes to ensure an alignment across Engineering & Maintenance to gain efficiencies, standardisation, and simplification, taking into consideration a best practice approach.
Ensure a continuous improvement structured approach, using Learn, Agile, DMAIC etc. Principles in your Project delivery. 
Be accountable for full Project documentation, reporting and communication to all stakeholders.
Identify, coordinate, and implement initiatives in the field of digitalization, innovation, and sustainability.
Drive E&M cultural change and acceptance – promoting the “working as one team” philosophy
Coordinate project finances including business case, CAPEX and OPEX budgets in close cooperation with E&M Finance.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

Preferable but not limited to,
4 years or greater experience in an international multi-cultural Project Management environment, specialising in Process and Performance Improvement or Systems Optimisation.
Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline.
Extensive project management delivery experience with a proven track record in complex dynamic organisations.  
Demonstrating creativity in innovation and problem solving, self-motivated and driven with a result orientated approach.
With a background in Aviation engineering and maintenance or similar environments.
Analytical in approach with Management Information, Process Measurement and Data analytics. With the ability to identify pain points and improvement opportunities, followed up with Resolution / Recommendation Action Plans. 
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, in English, with a second Language in Dutch, French or German an advantage.
With the ability to operate within pan-European Engineering & Maintenance, virtual office environment, conducting Project Management activities both online and in person using Microsoft TEAM’s Channel Communications, Company Systems and Face to Face Meetings when required.    
The Role may involve some international travel mainly within Europe.
