Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester
This is a contract role for approx 26 weeks (6 months).
We are looking for an experienced receptionist/administrator to join the Manchester office of a busy rail engineering company. The successful candidate will be responsible for front of office reception and administration duties. This will include greeting visitors, answering phones, handling company enquiries and the sorting and distribution of mail.
•Daily checklist of duties to manage the reception area
•Manage visitors and support the security of the building
•Raise IT tickets and support the IT team with compliance
•Manage meeting room bookings and ensure efficient use of office space
•Manage incoming and outgoing post
•Ensure good house-keeping of reception, meeting rooms and goods-in area
•Raise Requisitions and manage good receipting including maintaining office supplies, PPE and consumables
•Update safety information on a monthly basis
•Raise estates tickets and log on tracker
The successful candidate will also provide administrative support to departments as required and will take on any other ad hoc administrative tasks as required by the manager.
