Job Purpose:

·         To support the specified recruitment team on the rail side of the business. Working with the lead recruiter for the team allocated and ensuring the speedy and accurate resourcing of requirements as directed.

 

 

 

 

Key Duties:

·         Liaise with Lead Recruiter on all issues, ensure problems or potential problems are highlighted.

·         Resourcing of the labour requirements in a timely and efficient way according to section 4 of the CMS.

·         Identify and recruit new talent pipeline of workers

·         Liaise and support clients as required, customer service calls, up sell and sales calls weekly.

·         Complete staffcards (contracts) and memo’s on a weekly basis.

·         Interface with MPI projects team for fixed price jobs, including maintaining jobs spreadsheet.

·         Interface with the Training and Compliance department for queries, new starters, PPE and paperwork (C of C’s).

·         Interface with Payroll and Credit Control departments for timesheet queries and new client checks.

·         Ensure all spreadsheets are maintained and available including KPI, Ongoing Workers and Weekend Workers.

·         Checking of rosters for fixed price teams to ensure teams competencies are valid and not at risk of fatigue.

·         Advertising of new roles – Facebook, MPI Website, Reed, Twitter, Railwaypeople.com and Linked In.

·         Maintain the central database with up to date information on candidates.

·         Determine those that require courses or re-certification as per lists generated.

·         Site visits to projects as required (ideally one per team per month), update site visit plan.

·         Ensure filing is kept up to date.

·         Ensure CV coding is kept up to date.

·         Attend the monthly rail site visit meeting as requested.

 

 

Requirements:

·         Experience in a customer service or sales environment.

·         Proven experience in a recruitment role

·         Excellent attention to detail and organisation.

·         Intermediate MS Excel skills

·         Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, independently and within a team.

·         Superior communication skills
