Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Location of Works: Bodmin, Cornwall
Contract Dates: 01/09/2022 - 01/04/2024
We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to work out of Bodmin, Cornwall on an initial 2 year contract.
The work will commence beginning of September and will be contracted until 2024, with the possibility of an extension thereafter.
Shifts will vary between Days and Nights, with the occasional weekend work.
Assist the Regional Logistics manager in maintaining the effective and efficient management of materials stored at the Project Depot and satellite sites.
The ordering or call-off of Consumables, which are not included in the main project Bill of Materials.
Assist in planning the resource available to you to meet the demands of the Project whilst maintaining a healthy work/life balance and complying with Siemens Policies regarding Risk and Fatigue Management.
Provide weekly reports to the Regional Logistics Manager regarding Stock accuracy and GRN activity for the Project.
Attend any Project Meetings in the absence of the Regional Logistics Manager and feedback in a timely manner on any issues raised.
Maintain adherence to the Business Management standards and have a strong influence on managing improvements and change in your area of responsibility.
Collaborate with other Teams specifically the Material Engineers, Buyers and Construction Team.
Assist the Regional Logistics Manager in maintaining health & Safety within the workplace were required to maintain the business initiative of Zero Harm.
