MPI are looking for a Welder/Fabricator based in Kempston, Bedford working a on going contract

• Payrate: £18.00 per hour PAYE

• Monday to Friday 7:00 – 15:30

• Candidates must have their own welding mask.

Client

Based in Bedford, our client designs, manufactures and installs a wide range of fluid processing equipment, predominantly for the water industry. Tanks and Pipework. They are currently looking for a Fabricator / Welder, to work in their workshop.

Candidate/Role

The successful individual’s primary responsibility will be the fabrication of their products, so previous experience working with stainless steel, cutting, bending, grinding & assembling using manual machinery is essential.

The role will also require you to MIG / TIG weld as and when required, so a proven ability to weld is also essential, No formal codings are required

The ideal applicant will be able to read technical drawings and comfortable fabricating, assembling, and welding medium to large scale products independently.
