History

MPI traces its roots back to 1962 where it pioneered the concept of the flexible, mobile work force. In the ensuing years our services have been refined and perfected to ensure that the services you require are the services MPI provide.

Having operated from bases in and around North London, MPI made its move to the current head-office in Hertford in June 1975. Offices in Hemel Hempstead and Tooting, South London were amalgamated within Hertford in September 1981.

In August 1986 the decision was made to open a new office in Milton Keynes to service the growing need in the South Midlands for an engineering labour provider with extensive knowledge of the Electronics markets. This was augmented in 1988 when the Telford office was opened. This has since become the leading supplier of Aerospace labour within the UK.  The Stansted office was opened in 2006 when the move from our offices of 12 years in Cambridge.

In 1998 the idea of supplying work under  'Fixed Price Work' packages was turned into a commercial reality. This has established itself in implementing programmes for the conversion, modification, repair and maintenance of both fixed and rotary wing aircraft.

In 2003 MPI set up its highly successful MPI 24/7 Fuel Tank repair teams. These have since completed over 2000 successful fuel tank repairs and maintenance jobs.
