MPI have a requirement for Aircraft Structural Fitters to be based at Cambridge City Airport

This is a long term contract position 18 months - 5 years work.

​

Working Monday - Thursday 9.25 hours per shift 07.30-17.15 (with overtime available on Fridays)

If working 4on / 4 off, then potential of 41.5 --50hrs per week

Overtime is not guaranteed, however the site is extremely busy so is likley

​

This contract is deemed In-Scope of IR35

​

Rates: PSC Ltd £26.88 per hour

O/T *1.5 (weekdays and Saturdays) Umbrella £46.11 or PSC Ltd £40.32 per hour

O/T *2.0 (Sundays) Umbrella £61.47 or PSC Ltd £53.76 per hour

Overtime for hours above 37 per week paid at *1.5 (weekdays and Saturdays), Sundays paid at Double time.

​

To carry out maintenance, modifications, and repairs to aircraft structure & mechanical systems in accordance with work card instructions and relevant controlled technical documentation.

Actively support, promote and contribute to continuous improvement ideas and activity to ensure that progressive gains in efficiency are maintained.

Applicants preferably to have C130 structures experience, however our client will accept good all round Airframe Fitters without actual C130 experience. This may be an opportunity of gaining new experience on C130's

​

Applicants must have served an Aircraft Apprenticeship and have copies of their papers.

​

Please note: induction period is now carried out over a 2 week period and will include General Familiarisation Course on the C130 and some online courses too.
