Job description
MPI Limited are looking for Burnham Lecturer Avionics to teach technical training to multi-national students with an age range of 16-35 in both classroom & aircraft hangar environments based at in Cosford, Wolverhampton.
The Avionics Lecturer position is an ongoing contract, as per customer requirements.
JOB DESCRIPTION
A vacancy exists for a Burnham Lecturer Avionics Principles in the Academic Principles Organisation at DSAE Cosford. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Electrical & Avionics Principles and related topics to RAF FT and IDT students on a City & Guilds level 3 Technician course.
The applicant must have a HNC/HND/Degree in any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) subject.
You will require teaching experience level 6
It is desirable that applicants have experience or working in a military environment.
Rate of pay will be discussed on application
Normal working hours are 08.30 – 17.00 Monday – Friday and 08.30 – 16.30 Friday. There are times when candidates are required to work outside of these hours and if this happens they are given time off in lieu.
Please note - this position is classified as being in the public sector and in scope.
The successful applicant will be required to apply for a Basic Disclosure at a cost of £25 and also undergo an MOD BPSS Security Clearance; this will only be required at job offer stage.
