​MPI is currently recruiting for a B1/C Licensed Aircraft Engineer in Broughton, Chester.

This is a contract role with 6 – 12 months initially and is ongoing as per customer requirements.

this role is in Scope of IR35

The salary is available upon request.

Summary of Role:

The B1/C CAA PT66 Licensed Engineer will hold a Beech B300 Series (PWC PT6) type rating and will undertake scheduled and un-scheduled aircraft maintenance and carry out pre-flight, daily and weekly checks of aircraft. You will also take responsibility for rectification and repair, mandatory inspection and certification of all servicing and maintenance tasks within your scope of approval. In addition, you will assume control of all documentation for aircraft under your control and be available at short notice to perform Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery. You will be responsible for performing aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with Civil and Military regulatory airworthiness standards and our clients UK Company policy.

Main Duties:

The licence holder will -

Have a comprehensive understanding of Aviation Regulations with regard to CAA and MAA legislation and their application with regard to maintenance of aircraft.

Have the ability to fully understand Drawn and Technical requirements of Aircraft Maintenance, Modification and System Integration.

Possess excellent communication skills both written and spoken.

Carry out maintenance in accordance with approved OEM’s data and manuals.

Highlight defects and spares issues in a timely manner facilitating timely completion of maintenance activities.

Technical supervision and support to the approved HDL operators

Control and co-ordinate the correct and timely completion of aircraft documentation in support of CRS requirements.

Supervise, certify and embody complex structural modifications.

Candidate Requirements:

Essential:

The preferred candidate is expected to hold a Beech B300 Series (PWC PT6A) B1/C Type rating. The preferred candidate will be able to demonstrate proven experience in a similar role. There is an expectation to demonstrate previous success in managing acceptable airworthiness, safety and performance standards while carrying out such role requirements.
