​MPI are assisting our client, the MOD with their role for a: Catering Assistant/Kitchen Staff Member

To be based at Catering Flight, BSW, RAF Marham, Marham, Kings Lynn,Norfolk, PE33 9NP

Contract is expected to be up to 16th July 2022

Paying an hourly PAYE rate of £12.00 per hour for 37 hour week.

Applicants must be able to obtain full BPSS clearance.

Front of house role for the delivery of but not limited to daily meal service and bar work.

• You are to work alongside the industry partner (ESS) to ensure catering retail and leisure and food supply are provided

• Be an enthusiastic individual with excellent hospitality and customer service skills.

• Ensure your workplace and surroundings are maintained to the highest of standards.

• Maintain the highest levels of hospitality service across all meal services and bar duties

• Be highly competent in the English language both written and verbal

• 6. Be able to work unsupervised as part of a team.

• Ensure you are aware of, and comply with all health & safety procedures and standards at all times. this includes but is not limited to food handling, COSHH, uniform standards, personal protective equipment, fire regulations and security.

• Undertake compulsory training as directed by line management iaw jsp456.

• Hold Basic Food Hygiene Level 2.

DESIRABLE

• To have previous experience in hospitality or a similar role.

• To work official and unofficial mess functions inclusive of bar duties and shift work

• To be flexible and comply with reasonable quests made by your line manager.

• To take responsibility for cash handling.
