Mechanical Fitter

Our Client is world renowned as manufacturers of Industrial Conveyor systems.They currently require a mechanical fitter to work on a contract from Septemnber until middle to end of January.Duties•To assemble mechanical panels and build mechanical cabinets in an Engineering manufacturing environment.

Key skills

• To be able to demonstrate problem solving skills in relation to mechanical assembly problems with products under manufacture

• Solving mechanical alignment problems if any

• Ensuring the correct tools are being used

• Putting together assemblies under control of the production team leader

• Feedback quality concerns about any mechanical parts used in the manufacturing process

• Checking of mechanical parts before start of assembly that these are fit for use

• Drilling and tapping experience beneficial

Background •Solid mechanical fitting or assembly experience preferred •Able to work as part of a team supporting others
