PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN – MILTON KEYNES
MPI Limited requires Production Technician for a contract position based in Rookley, Milton Keynes.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Working on the clients HVAC overhaul, production line in Milton Keynes
Candidates must have a basic tool kit & have come from a Mechanical or Electrical background or have qualifications in either of these fields.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project scope delivery duties:
· Adopt and promote safe working practices — risk assessments, working directive, COSHH, PPE and other safety equipment.
· Excellent conduct at all times. To be a professional representative for the company at all times.
· Flexibility in working where additional time (early morning, late evening, nights), weekends may need to be worked to complete the job/work.
· Adherence to the clients policies and procedures. Example, signing in and out of site.
· Good communication at all levels.
· Liaise with customer representative/management.
· Liaise with the Team leader for day-to-day work needed completing.
· Report any fault and/or engineering issues.
· Ensure all your unit documentation is in order.
· Ensuring record of training and experience under the guidance of Lead Hand, Team Leader and compliance support.
· Clean working area at all times, organized and safe.
· To undertake tasks/job given to you by Lead Hand/Team Leader.
· Responsibility and care of clothing, tooling and equipment.
· Responsibility and care of vehicles and other company equipment when used.
*Working on the HVAC line on 1 of 3 stages or 2 sub stages
*Filling in paper work correctly
*Brazing (training will be given)
*Removing and fitting fans
*Overhauling electrical boards (training will be given)
*Pressure testing units (training will be given)
*Keeping area tidy
*Cleaning units/lids
*Helping other stages once your work is complete.
Rate of Pay
PAYE
£11.08 Per Hour – Basic Hours
£12.58 Per Hour – Overtime
6-month contract to start in May
Standard hours of working are:
Monday to Wednesday 07:00 to 17:00, Thursday 07:00 to 16:30 (half hour unpaid lunch)
Friday will be required every now and then for over time if needed.
