Job Title: Resource Coordinator
The Resource Coordinator will work within the central resourcing team resourcing all third party labour for our client.
What are my responsibilities?
Sourcing candidates to support all project requirements midweek / weekend & commissioning
Liaising with TIC and Construction teams to identify and forecast project resource demand
Confirming selected staff with line managers and their suppliers – checking certification, IT and inductions are in place for start date
Working with projects to staff commissioning works via a staffing matrix this requires checking certification, requested hotel requirements, personal contact information etc
Managing your suppliers with regular feedback and quarterly/bi-annual reviews
Ensuring that the correct rate is applied to each contractor
Maintain positive relations with customers, suppliers, and between key areas
Checking the end dates for contractors and either extending them or marking them as a leaver
Booking courses with suppliers/site and contractors for renewal of certifications
Carrying out weekly/monthly audits on various Microsoft Excel spreadsheets once audit we issue these to various parts of the business
Keeping check of our central shared inboxes making sure that all queries and requests are dealt with in a timely manner
Cover receptionist as and when required
Order stationary, PPE & IT equipment as and when required
General office adhoc duties
Issuing PPE to local region
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Excellent computing skills in Microsoft Excel
Strong computing skills in Microsoft Word & Outlook
Excellent eye for detail
Ability to network internally and externally and share best practice with the wider business
Can do attitude
Ability to multitask and demonstrate a good level of organisational and communication skills
Demonstrated relationship building with stakeholders and suppliers
Ability to work with limited supervision
Desirable
At least 12 months previous experience of buying and sourcing agency staff for technical, professional and contingent labour roles within the railway environment.
