Job Title: Resource Coordinator

Location: Swanley, Kent

Duration: Long Term

Job Description:

We are looking for a Resource Coordinator to work out of our office in Farningham.

The assignment will be long term (minimum 12 month contract to start) Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.

No remote working - will be expected to carry out all works in the office.

We are looking for someone with solid experience as outlined on the job spec, IT skills are a must.

Resourcing process training will be provided but the candidate must have proactive attitude and the ability to learn and pick up things quickly.

Ability to communicate is a must. All successful candidates will be placed on a 6-month trial to start with.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Sourcing of candidates via the Preferred Suppliers List to support all agency business requirements.

  • Sourcing candidates to support all project requirements midweek/midweek/weekend & commissioning

  • Liaising with TIC and Construction teams to identify and forecast project resource demand

  • Confirm all staff selected with projects/suppliers

  • Ensure all agency resources have the correct competencies to complete their assignments

  • Adhere to the IR35 process and ensure all agency labour are order in accordance with this.

  • Collate all info/staffing and maintain commissioning spreadsheets with contractor details

  • Ensure that the ERP requisition to pay process is adhered to and that all contractors have valid orders in place

  • Ensure that the contractor rate card is used and applied

  • Maintain positive relations with customers, suppliers and between key areas

Other Activities:-

  • General administrative tasks such electronic filling, running reports, assisting the reception as and when required.

  • Dealing with adhoc agency labour queries such as timesheets, logistics etc

  • Auditing information maintained by the team

  • Assisting projects with admin support (overtime & optional)

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • At least 6 months previous experience of buying and sourcing agency staff for technical, professional and contingent labour roles within the railway environment.

  • At least 3 years of working in an Administrative, fast paced environment

  • Ability to network internally and externally and share best practice with the wider business

  • Ability to multitask and demonstrate a good level of organisational and communication skills

  • Demonstrated relationship building with stakeholders and suppliers

  • Proven track record of delivery for sourcing agency contractor requirements for commissioning weekends

  • Ability to work with limited supervision

  • Excellent computing skills in MS word, excel, project and Lotus Notes

  • Flexibility and an ability and willingness to learn.
