​Job Title: SERVO MOTOR REPAIR TECHNICIAN

Reports to: ERC Workshop Supervisor

Place of work:Bletchley, Milton Keynes MK1 1EP

Job Description

To provide Remanufacturing Centre customers with a servo motor test, repair, rework, update, and replacement service. Ensuring that product leaves the Remanufacturing Centre meeting the quality, safety and reliability standards. Fault finding and repair to component level on various Servo Motors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ability to work quickly and accurately on a range of industrial equipment.

Extensive fault diagnostic knowledge, down to component level with good soldering skills.

Media blasting and paint spraying.

To undertake product rework modifications as required.

Review test procedures and forward amendments to relevant body.

To inform supervisor of delays or other potential problems likely to adversely affect production objectives.

To complete all documentation, paper or electronic relevant to the equipment repaired.

Actively seek out and participate in both formal and informal training and development covering both technical and personal development.

To ensure good housekeeping standards are applied and sustained.

Ensure that own safety and the safety of all others is maintained.

To comply with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by the manager from time to time in relation to the job holder’s skills and abilities.

Education and/or Experience:

SAP knowledge is preferred, but not essential as training will be provided.

Microsoft Office proficiency required.

O-level, CSE or GCSE (or equivalent qualifications) – Math’s and English required.

ONC/HNC Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent qualifications).

Salary

The salary would be in the range of £25k-£29k + 5% annual on target earnings bonus.
