​MPI have a requirement for an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker to work on site in Prestwick, Ayrshire on contract. Immediate start.

Approx 40 hours + per week.

Hours: 7.30am to 4pm, Monday - Friday  (30 minutes unpaid lunch and two 15 minutes paid breaks.)

Duration: Ongoing

Rate of pay: £28.00 per hour LTD (paye rates available upon application)

This role is deemed out of scope of IR35

Duties:

Working in a workshop environment carrying out flush repairs to slat leading edge skins. Candidates must be capable of making the repair parts themselves, using standard workshop equipment (rollers etc.) and hand skills. This is specialised work and you will be working to tight tolerances. It is detailed SMW, shrinking, stretching, wheeling, rolling, bending, etc.

Our client may possibly consider a heavy structures maintenance fitter but must have done some benchwork.
