MPI is recruiting a Service & Repairs Engineer on behalf of a leading client. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing engineering team, working across domestic and commercial sites throughout the UK.
The ideal candidate will be based in London, although applications from Kent, Surrey, Southampton, Reading, Oxford and surrounding areas are also encouraged.
£38,000 basic salary
8% discretionary bonus

As a Service & Repairs Engineer, you'll be responsible for servicing, commissioning, fault finding and repairing pumps and pressurised systems at customer sites across the UK. You'll also assist with installations, carry out site surveys and provide first-class customer service while ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
The role includes participation in a rotating on-call and standby rota to provide 24/7 customer support.
Service and commission pumps and pressurised systems
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs
Assist with pump and pressurised system installations
Carry out site surveys and provide technical feedback
Complete service reports and maintain accurate records using mobile technology
Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety procedures
Build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for additional services
Support and share knowledge with colleagues when required
Experience servicing and commissioning pumps and pressurised systems
Fault-finding and repair experience
Good knowledge of pumps and pressurised water systems
Full UK driving licence
Organised, reliable and self-motivated
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Positive, flexible and proactive approach
Strong commitment to safe working practices
Typical hours are 8:00am – 4:30pm, although flexibility is required depending on workload. Any time worked over 9 hours per day is paid at overtime rates, giving you the opportunity to significantly increase your earnings.
