​MPI have a requirement for a B1 and/or B2 Licensed Engineer (consider Type Training- Bonded) to work in a permanent role at Prestwick Airport.

This is a full time role working 5 days on, 5 days off, 4 days on 4 days off (may revert to another shift at a later date).

They are seeking a full time B1/B2 Certifying Engineer to join their dedicated capability development Team in Prestwick.

The role’s key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Line Maintenance Certifying Engineer supporting our King Air 200 & 300 aircraft.

Support maintenance and/or rectification on other company aircraft types as required.

Support the day-to-day running of the Maintenance Organisations Line Station.

Support the cleanliness, tidiness and upkeep of Maintenance facilities and equipment.

Have Stores knowledge, preferably within aviation/aerospace with experience of working within a bonded store and tool store.

Must demonstrate attention to detail.

Good communicator with a polite and courteous manner.

IT literate preferably with experience of MRO software systems

Able to work as a team.

Able to work under pressure within deadlines.

The following skills, knowledge and experience are essential for this role:-

An unrestricted UK CAA Part 66 B1 & B2 Licence, holding King Air 200 or 300 type ratings.

Demonstrable recent experience on King Air 200 or 300.

Flexible and able to travel to work at other sites as required.

Automatic right to work in the UK.

Excellent team player and communicator.

Able to work as a team.

Good IT skills.

Desirable skills/experience:-

Experience of working in a remote Line Station environment, with a dedicated small team of engineers.

Current Human Factors Training and proof of Initial Human Factors Training.
